Well I've now discovered the nuttiness that is the soundtrack to Dance Dance Revolution Mario Mix. Classical music is apparently very popular in the Mushroom Kingdom. It's a good time. Current Mood: DANCIECurrent Music: DDR MARIO WEIRDNESS |

WHAT THE CRAP
Some things are different, but some are the same. To prove how silly Tulsa is, here's a story. Today I discovered that right next to the arcade is a new store that sells Asian stuff. Among some little lucky cats and jade statues were Asian snacks like the ones I got in Vancouver. So I got some Pocky, Yan-Yan and shrimp chips. HOWEVER, yesterday I went to the QuikTrip and could only find TWO tiny bottles of 100% juice. So let's recap: in Tulsa, Oklahoma you have an easier time finding imported Asian snacks (including FREAKING SHRIMP CHIPS WTF) than wholesome 100% juice. I'm sure if I was looking for 100% gravy to drink I'd find it, no problem. |

MEGA MUSIC
Cleeeaaaaaning the aaaapaaaartmeennnnnt. YAY FUN ONLY NOT AT ALL. Yeah, so, that's boring. But not as boring as what I'm about to post! Huzzah! I don't know how many of you have the amount of game geekery necessary to appreciate these, but here goes anyway: I have some rare .mp3s of official Mega Man remixes. I don't know much about their origins, but I believe they came from CDs given away in Japan as promotional items or something. The CDs seemed to only have about 5 songs or less, and I assume these were made before Mega Man 7 because only the NES MM games are covered. They're professionally remixed, and they're all pretty nice in my opinion. Anyway, here's what I have: MM1: Cut Man, Guts Man, Elec Man, MM1 medley (the six main stages) MM2: MM2 medley (Robot Master battle, Heat Man, Metal Man, Dr. Wily stage 3, Crash Man, final battle victory, Mega Man theme), Ending MM3: Magnet Man (the game over music also makes a cameo in this), Spark Man MM4: Bright Man (with the MM4 prologue and the weapon obtaining music thrown in), Ring Man, Skull Man, Dr. Wily teleporter stage MM5: Stone Man, Wave Man MM6: Wind Man So if anyone is in that dangerously sad level of geekdom like DragonZap and I am, hit me up on AIM and I'll spread the love. Current Mood: so nerdy it'd melt your faceCurrent Music: BRIGHT MAN |

After the pain and after the misery, you'll only find the light
Now THESE should confuse anyone on the LJ Random Images Generator: Why yes, it's Varl, the man-faced dog. He's here to collect your soul and bring you to your judgement! Yes, no matter if you're good or evil, Varl wants everyone to get a fair trial. There are still some problems that need to be worked out, and at some point I'll have to change stuff so's he can run in real-time, but for now, I thought this looked kind of cool. It's the first time I've actually modelled, rigged, and textured a character almost 100% on my own (the only thing I needed help with was how to rig his back legs properly). Considering that, I'm pretty happy thus far. Oh, and he's pointy because it's supposed to be a low-poly model. Once he's all finished I'll show all the crap I used to make him. |
